Looped sieves

Slotted loop sieves are made of specially shaped profile wires with loops. The wires are formed in plastic forming on the presses from usual round wire. Defined profile and assigned loop width are being given in that process in order to gain required slot. Prepared wires are set one next to another and joined with bar coming through the loop to make a sieve this way.

Loop sieve is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damages, stiffness, surface smoothness and abrasive-proof. Profiled wires with loops are made acc. to branch standard BN – 80/1758 – 08, in the following variations:

  • Profiled wires with distance spacing; variations Gd2 i Gd3,
  • Smooth profiled wires; variation G

Variation Gd2 is made of wire of input diameter 2,8 mm and is applied for sieves of the slots from 0,25 mm; 0,35 mm; 0,5 mm; 0,75 mm; 1,0 mm. Variation Gd3 is made of wire of input diameter 3,4 mm and is applied for sieves of the slots from 0,25 mm; 0,35 mm; 0,5 mm; 0,75 mm. Variation G is made of wire of input diameter 3,4 mm and is applied for sieves of the slots from 1,0 mm; 1,5 mm; 2,0 mm and bigger. The sieves of the slots bigger then 2 mm are made with distance washers using.. The most common material for profiled wires is stainless steel H17. chromium-nickel steel 1H18N9 is also used. The remaining parts of the sieves are usually made of structure steel. Nevertheless for special wish other materials can be used.

The schedule gives basic sieves parameters.

Wire Slots
0,35 0,5 0,75 1,0 1,5 2,0
Profile 2,8 Clearance % 12,5 16,8 22,4
Weight kg/m2 30,23 28,28 25,48

Aside from given in the schedule we can produce other sieves of different slots after agreement with producer.
